he Ethiopian Full Gospel Believers’ Church is a Pentecostal Christian denomination in Ethiopia. The Ethiopian Full Gospel Believers’ Church has its origins in a prayer conference held at the University of Addis Ababa in the mid 1965s. The church is officially founded in 1967. In 2015, it had 2,143 churches and 4,5 million members. In 1974, leaders from different places of the country came and agreed to be organized at a denominational level. The national office of the church is established in Addis Ababa and FDRE accorded the church its full recognition on November 10, 1991 in accordance with the constitutional provision of the religious liberty and freedom of worship.
